Wrote WAEC two years ago and never collected the certificate. How do I check the result and get the certificate?
Results: go to waecdirect.org, enter your examination number and year, and use a result checker PIN bought from WAEC-approved sellers or the WAEC app. Each PIN allows a limited number of checks.
Certificate: school candidates collect the printed certificate from their school, usually about a year after the exam; private candidates collect from the WAEC office of the state where they sat. Take your ID and the exam photocard. There is a small collection fee and a larger fee if the certificate must be reissued.
WAEC also runs a digital certificate platform for verification by employers and universities, with its own fee. Check waecnigeria.org for the current charges.
