9jah, at 9jah.com, is a public question and answer site for Nigeria. It is run by Ranked Technologies Limited, RC 9522220, of Lekki, Lagos, Nigeria. Using the site means you accept what is on this page. Read the Privacy page with it, because that is where we tell you where your data is kept.
Everything you post is visible to anyone, with no account, and is indexed by search engines. Do not post your own private details, and do not post anybody else's.
What you write stays yours. By posting it on 9jah you give Ranked Technologies Limited permission to store it, show it on the site, include it in the site's search and sitemap, and put it in front of the Ask 9jah assistant when the assistant is looking for an answer. You can ask us to take your posts down.
Do not post spam or advertising. Do not post other people's private information. Do not post anything that is unlawful in Nigeria. Do not post abuse or harassment. Do not scrape or hammer the site.
We can remove content, lock a question or close an account that breaks these rules. Write to support@ranked.ng if you think we got it wrong.
Questions and answers tagged seeded were written by the 9jah team so the site had something to start from. Each one carries the date it was checked. Prices, fees and rules in Nigeria change, so confirm anything that matters with the body named in the answer. A correction to a seeded answer is welcome.
Ask 9jah runs on ngpt-1, our own model, on our own machine. Nothing you type into it goes to an outside model provider.
It can be wrong, and in Nigerian languages it has invented names and prices. It is not legal, medical or financial advice and it is no substitute for a professional. What you decide on the back of its answers is your decision.
9jah takes no payment. There is no paid tier, no subscription and no checkout on this site today. Any price mentioned anywhere on the site is a proposal, not a charge. Since nothing is charged, there is nothing to refund.
9jah is provided as it is. We do not promise that it will be available at all times, that any answer on it is correct, or that data will never be lost. There is no off-machine backup of this site. Keep your own copy of anything you would be sorry to lose.
The site runs on our own server in Istanbul, Türkiye, with Cloudflare in front of it. The company is Nigerian and your data crosses a border to reach that server, which is a cross-border transfer under the Nigeria Data Protection Act 2023. The Privacy page sets that out in full.
Ranked Technologies Limited is registered with the Nigeria Data Protection Commission (NDPC) under registration NDPC/DCP/14538. No Data Protection Officer has been appointed; write to support@ranked.ng.
These terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, and the courts of Lagos State have jurisdiction over any dispute about them.
