My line was blocked for no NIN link. How do I link it, and is there a fee?

Every network runs its own link path and there is no fee.

The safest route is the network's own app (MyMTN, Airtel Nigeria, Glo Cafe, 9mobile) or a service centre with your NIN slip. Each network also has a shortcode; MTN uses *785# and the others publish theirs on their websites. NIMC's NIN-SIM link portal also works.

Since 2024 the NCC has barred lines that are not linked, in phases. If your line is already barred you can still link it; service comes back within a day or two.

If the NIN on file has a different name from your SIM registration, fix the NIMC record first (a modification request at an NIMC centre), then relink.
