How do I find a church or mosque when I move to a new city?

Just moved to Enugu for work and know nobody. How do people find a place of worship?

Practical ways members use:

Google Maps and the denominations' own parish finders (RCCG, Catholic dioceses, Anglican dioceses, Deeper Life and Winners all keep online lists). For mosques, ask at the nearest Islamic school or the state chapter of the Nigerian Supreme Council for Islamic Affairs.
Ask a colleague at work; most people are glad to take a newcomer along.
Post here with the state tag and the area you live in.

Visit two or three before settling, and be careful with any group that asks for large payments early. In a new city the mid-week service is the easiest place to meet people.
